Team Schooly D

Team Schooly D is a Halo clan that seeks to gather into its ranks the best and the coolest from the Halo community. With its dynamic membership, it has remained a powerful force in the realm of Halo clans thanks to its brave leader, iron members, and sterling reputation. And with the inclusion of the Schooly F. D Institute for Halo Science, it has become the premiere developer of discussion, strategy, and philosophy regarding multiplayer Halo.

Beginnings
Team Schooly D (TSD) was formed during the summer of 2005 by its founder Schooly D. In its original incarnation it was an online clan through Halo 2's clan system. The clan started out as a joke, because when someone would view Schooly D's profile, the header would say "Schooly D (Team Schooly D)" which was hilarious.

But later that summer, Schooly D had begun to play with Louis Wu a good deal and established a healthy rapport. At one point Schooly D asked Louis Wu the following question:

Schooly D: Hey, you wanna join Team Schooly D?
Louis Wu: Sure.

And thus began the legend. With Louis Wu's addition to the roster, people from all over the internet flocked to become members of TSD, and very quickly TSD became the clan to be a member of. Since then, TSD's roster has grown and shrunk. Clan battles have been won and lost. Scopes have been No'd. But what has persisted is Team Schooly D's commitment to excellent gameplay and excellent, uh, being cool.
